EA Sports FC 27 pricing and release date leak: here’s what it could cost you

EA’s football franchise appears set for its usual autumn release, with a new report pointing to September 25, 2026 as the launch date for EA Sports FC 27. The claim comes from Dealabs, via its leaker billbil-kun, and has not been confirmed by EA itself.

On the money side, the leak indicates EA plans to hold the line on US pricing, keeping the standard edition at $69.99 across every platform it releases on. European players would see a split: €69.99 for PC and Nintendo Switch 2 versions, against €79.99 for the PlayStation and Xbox editions.

Early access is also part of the leak. Buyers of the Ultimate Edition and EA Play subscribers who qualify could start playing on September 17, 2026, roughly a week before the wider release – though Dealabs notes this date isn’t locked in and could shift to a standard seven-day early access window instead, as happened with EA Sports FC 26.

The reported platform list spans PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC, suggesting EA intends to keep selling the game on last-generation hardware for at least one more year rather than narrowing its release strategy to current-gen consoles only.

Physical editions are expected to continue as well, with game-disc versions reportedly planned for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Xbox One – a detail that matters for retailers and buyers in markets where boxed copies still sell alongside digital downloads.

None of this is official yet. EA has not confirmed the release date, platforms, pricing or special editions detailed in the report, and the company is expected to make its own announcement in the coming weeks if the September timeline reported by Dealabs proves accurate.
